Campen sunk in 1627 off Isle of Wight, South of England

The Dutch East Indiaman "Campen" was wrecked off the Needles rocks on the Isle of Wight in October 1627. The wreck was rediscovered by divers from the North Hampton Branch of the British Sub Aqua Club in June 1979.
