Vliegenthart sunk in 1735 off Zeeland, Netherlands.
The wreck of this Dutch East Indianman sank with the loss of all hands off the coast of Zeeland on her voyage from Holland to Batavia in the East Indies, on February 3rd, 1735. She was carrying a cargo which included building materials, iron, gunpowder, and gold and silver money for trading in the East, The trading money was packed in three wooden chests. 
The vessel remains were discovered by a diving expedition in 1981 after 3 years of exploration
